Small Forward from Columbia, South Carolina
No offers but is getting interest from USC
He doesn't have a Rivals bio yet.
Per GCC
ESPN Evaluation:
February, 2009: Rhett is the son of former Gamecock star Joe Rhett who played in the late 80's. Malcom is coming off a very serious knee injury suffered at the end of his sophomore season and that at the moment appears to be holding him back to a degree as he looks tentative and uneasy on his knee. When fully healthy, Rhett possesses the size to be a natural three man in college and has a good skill set along with a solid body build. An adequate ball handler he will need to improve that area of his game to be a division one prospect as well as his outside shooting. Colleges will wait to take a look at him during the July evaluation period to see exactly what level Rhett will be, however my projection is likely Division II.
December, 2008: The left handed junior has come back strong after suffering a knee injury last season; he wears a brace for precaution, but doesn't seem to be slowed down by it. He is improving his face up game and showed the ability to stick a 3 point shot. He is able to rebound the ball and start the break with a bust out dribble. Rhett is effective around the basket (favors left hand) and has the knack for drawing contact; his free-throw stroke looks good.
