View Full Version : Bama game what do we have to lose?

yeah obviously the game but we aren't gonna be favored or expected to win by anybody.I say we throw the whole kitchen sink at them and the the chips fall where they may.We can play loose and I wouldn't be to worried about the wildcat or any trickery from bama except for a possible fake fg or punt.They are just gonna line up and play smashmouth football, so do we go to more of a 4-3 defense?We have to force them to pass it for us to pull it off and force some turnovers and limit ours.Go Cocks!!!!

I saw that, but I also saw our defense hold Ole Miss to similar yardage.

Ole Miss vs:

BAMA: Total yards: 212 (72 rushing, 140 passing)

USC: Total yards:248 (139 rushing,109 passing)


Looks about the same. I do think that Bama's rush defense is better than ours though.

Hopefully we can keep this close into the 4th quarter and give ourselves a chance but the most important thing to me is that everyone stays injury free

or any national credibility... well, we don't have much of that anyway. So, I guess we could actually gain some if we can go in there and play them toe to toe.

I wonder if we play them within 10 or even win if the national media and pundits will just start talking about how Bama was so overrated.lol

If we do find a way to win I hope no one thinks Bama is over-rated(which they aren't). They have dismantled 3 not great but still good SEC teams and a pretty talented Virginia Tech team.

I agree but don't be surprised if.

I honestly don't think we are gonna get the chance to find out. But I am really hoping!! I think we will give thier D more trouble than Ole Miss even without an oline.

We got too cute against UF last year with the trick plays and the rotation of qbs...Just stick to your guns...

I didn't mean it as there is no way we get blown out...I meant that it would be a bit of a setback to our morale if we get blown out.

We could lose those playing any game...heck we could lose one walking down the stairs! (crosses himself and says a quick hailmary!)

We have nothing to lose, the nation expects us to lose...heck our own fans expect us to lose. So if we lose we lose one we were supposed to...however, if we (dare I hope or be positive) win the whole country will have to start paying attention to us. Or say Bama was way overated and go back to ignoring us...

bama lives off the turnovers (ole miss gave them 5, ky was close till 2 ints) if we play mistake free ball we got a shot at winning
