Ladies and Gentlemen,
We just lost to the #1 team in the nation with a Heisman worthy running back in Ingram by 14 points with our D only giving up 1 td the whole game as we held 1 of the nations best wide outs to 0 catches the whole game, There were about 2-3 interceptions that should have been ours. Now we might have let it get a bit out of control in some peoples eyes has we could not stop Alabama's version of the "wildcat" with Ingram but I think that was just more of his will, desire, and flat out talent that made them type plays. Rember we pulled this performance off without 3 of our defences starters at the begining of the season (Paulk, Robertson, and Auguste).
Our offence still has work to do but imo it was more of the play calling that hurt us and the fact Alabama has probably the best defence in the nation.
Penalties hurt us. Like I said our offence has work to do before we can say we are a legit team but we are getting there. It was a bit painful for me to watch Alabama flatten Miles in the back field or 3-7 yard runs knowing that we did not put Sherman in our Fastest back who imo could have made some plays in that game bouncing it to the outside, and we with out Giles which hurt him self by missing classes and the result was him not making the trip.
With that being said I say through out the rest of the season we make the support known, we got to let our players know that the season is not over yet and that this could still be a special season. We make the Brice loud as humanly possible for Vanderbilt, Florida, and Clemson. We need to let the players know that we are still behind them!

where do we go from here? easy! we continue to play New Carolina Football! we just need to work out some major kinks... our D needs to wrap up when they tackle, our o-line needs to play mistake free, and they also need to make holes... they can do this... we have a young team... they will get better from here... we cant go down when everyone already kept you down... all we can do is get better and play better next saturday.

vandy will not be a pushover...scary really...

...it will be another game like Kentucky. Close and down to the wire.
not trashing the team or anyone/thing...But I know Carolina football...it WILL be close.

I'd bet on it...just sayin

Play them one at a time. Beat them all!

Then you may see Bama again. Stop the Bamacat or whatever and win. Simple.

one thing one the bright side in all this..

were 2nd in the league in forced fumbles. only 1 needed to become 1st.
were 2nd in the league in sacks without still even having one in forever.
were 1st in the league in recovered fumbles.
were 1st in the league in punt and kick blocks
were 2nd in the league in pass defense behind only florida

on the bright side things in that sense are doing well.

as for the offense... well were avg. mostly middle of the road in all categories but in sacks allowed we lead the league.

the only problem is that statistically we are the same team as last year...

We try and play like bama - pound the ball and then go for the big play- minimize garcia's weakness to throw under pressure. Won't be pretty but let the defense win the game since our offense can't. Spurrier has been spot on about how our offense has a long way to go.

No way can we play like Bama when you have a running back that is probably the best in the nation. Im not saying our guys can not go out there and have a game he has but we need to play our style that suites our players which we dont have a running back like Ingram.
