alot of thread topics are like that so find something else to bitch about! and im at work and all of my work functions operate on caps lock, and for some others out there that "ARE NOT" smart ass's will he start being right of his suspinsion?

Using all caps on the internet is synonymous with shouting. He wasn't being a smart ass. It's simply a fact.

i agree and anything that helps our depth is a positive, if we can get one other person to step up at DB we'll have a strong 1st and 2nd string.

1st. Gilmore/Auguste
2nd. Whitlock/ ??

this is stupid, if you look when i 1st started the topic the title is caps and when i put anybodys its in lower case, i think everybody on here today must be on the rag!

I don't know how that answers the question.

...but to answer your question, I hope he is but I have nothing more than speculation...it was originally stated he could miss three games so outside of Carolina, who knows?

The 2 deep will look like this:

1. Auguste/Whitlock
2. Gilmore/Swearinger

I don't see how it would be any different. Whitlock has played well, but he's not as good as Auguste.

Whitlock and Gilmore at CB, Auguste at Safety, and move D Stew back to Spur. We are weakest at the spur than any other position in the D backfield. We also need some beef straight up the middle (DT and Mike LB)

whitlock has earned a spot. if he doesnt start then he will see alot of action. at elast we have a back up corner who can come in and play with out worry..he has became solid at coverage

with our 4-2-5 alignment we need safetys who can come up and tackle...even though auguste is a better tackler than CC, id rather have our safetys look and play like linebackers when needed...jst becasue you are a good tackling corner, doesnt mean you are a good overall tackler. but some switcharoo defensive formations rotationg these guys here n there would be cool

IMO CC is better in pass coverage, but Akeem is better run defender in the secondary. After the last two weeks though I am completely confident in CC. If before the season someone told me Akeem would be suspended for three games in the middle of the year I woulda been scared outta my mind, but CC stepped up and proved he could be the corner everyone thought he could be when he came in here. Great to have options, especially when none of them are upperclassmen!!

I think CC has earned the start. AA has been gone for three weeks, he needs to earn his way back to the starting lineup by outperforming CC on the field. I love that kind of competition and Vandy is the perfect game to get this stuff worked out.
