I know I can get a fantastic roast pork sandwich at the 903 Drive-In in Lancaster, SC. I've been told that there are at least two other places in town that serve roast pork sandwiches.
My question is, where can I find a good roast pork sandwich in the Columbia area -- or, for that matter, anywhere else in the state?

Maurice's is one of my all time favorites in the metro Columbia area. I always make it a point to have at least one Big Joe sandwich when I go home, which will be next Friday!

If you are ever in Brunswick GA, go to Willies Weenie wagon, they have a Pork Cutlet Sandwich that has a $2000 guarantee...It is that good!!!!

I used to work for a wholesaler in the liquor business.Every week I worked Lancaster and always called on the liquor store that was next door to the 903 Drive-in at lunch time. Their sliced pork sandwich is the best of its kind that I know of.Many of the Zesto's around the state offer a sliced pork sandwich, as does the Beacon and the old Sugar and Spice did in Spartanburg. The Clock Restaurant in Anderson and most of their other locations offer it as well.

Find a good Cuban sandwich and get it pressed. That is roast pork, ham, cheese, and pickles with mustard on fresh Cuban bread that is then pressed flat in a hot grill.

It's the typical Zesto-Clock menu that you will find throughout the upstate.Open faced sandwiches, burgers, blt, etc. It's not bad as I have certainly had worse.
