Sorry guys I honestly havent read through the rules and regs yet so lets try this again. I copied the whole article into my last thread so here is the link to the article if you havent had a chance to read it. It sounds to me like Kentucky is not looking forward to dealing with Alshon and he is not the only one that they are worried about. Honestly I dont blame them.

lol last year they had a hardtime covering alshon but remember this.. despite having success throwing the ball last year, we RAN the ball extremely well (kenny Miles) i expect us to come out pounding the rock with lattimore, then balance it all out with the play action pass. alshon will get his touches, so will lattimore. and i think Kenny Miles will get a shot in there this game a little bit. also Ace Sanders should be a huge mismatch against kentucky with his speed.
I think it is funny how UK's DBs were saying that they were "just thrown in there" without prior preparation for what to expect. The thing I think is funny is they were using that as an excuse for why they were not able to contain a TRUE FRESHMAN in his comingout party against them, so Alshon was no more prepared according to their excuses. He could say the same about that game as well except he dominated !!!
Hah!

exactly, so there basically in other words saying.. last year when i was a true freshman i wasnt prepared and got schooled by someone alot better than me. (also a true freshman) making it sound like alshon was so much more game experienced or something. they should just admit that their level of talent dosent compare.
Martavius Neloms said in the article that he has a few games under his belt and better equipped to cover Alshon this season. He also stated that he's better this year than he was last year. Does he not think that Alshon also has a few games under his belt and is also alot better this year than last? Reality check!

I remember thinking how Alshon manhandled and abused the CB last year. I'm betting this year they focus on him and Garcia takes advantage of it with three other WR's and maybe a wheel route underneath. I also expect the running game to produce unless they absolutely sell out to stop it.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. Apprantly he thinks he is the only one who got better. Afterall it is so obvious Alshon just sat around all summer....

They better not worry too much about the receivers or Lattimore is gonna open a full bag of bitchslap on them.
Actually he's gonna do that anyways.

Wait till they meet Lattimore. They will remember the ass kicking Alshon gave them as "the good ole days"

The WR position is not the only thing they should be worried about. I wouldn't want to check into Gilmore Island this weekend I hear it's open for some Interceptions and all out blows!

Kentucky fans are getting some bad memories courtesy of Gamecock players. Norwood and Alshon have left their mark. Lattimore could be next. If we get up a bunch, I wouldn't be surprised to see some work by some players who haven't been noticed much yet because of the necessity of riding Alshon and Lattimore so hard.

If they're mainly worried about our receivers, they can't see the forest for the trees (pun somewhat intended). Our O-line has changed, and our running game will do more to crush their pass defense than just having 3 6'4""+ receivers and slot that could be called "Greased Lightning". If our D can't pound Hartline and Cobb into the ground - I think it's a shootout. When they do stop them, it's gonna get ugly. Hopefully it gets ugly early and the crowd goes home...

I'm pretty sure every team that we play should be worried about our receivers. I think they're some of the most talented in the country, and tall to boot.

Hopefully Ingram and Swearinger can bring the pain.
