Yes, I have they are Goooodddd!!!
BTW, are there any Cookout restaurants in SC? They really should build some in the Columbia area. I'm sure they would become a big hit with the USC students. It's a very popular among the NC State students in Raleigh. Much better than SONIC imop.

Yep, and it's slowly starting to spread out across the south. I'm glad too. The place is amazing. Their list of milkshakes is... wow. And you can combine ingredients/mix-match for the same price. Strawberry Cheesecake milkshake with fudge... excellent.
But my favorite menu item: The Cheerwine Float. :woo:

got one in Orangeburg too.
Watermelon shake is good until you get to the bottom and realized all the ice cream is gone and you've sucked all the goodness out of the watermelon chunks. Then you're left with frozen taste-less watermelon chunks.
The menu was kinda intimidating at first but now I just stick to the combo. Pretty good deal...sandwich, two sides (you can get a corndog as a side FTW) and a Huge Tea all for $4.25 plus tax. Great deal IMO

I had my first experience @ Cookout last Labor Day. We were coming home from the mountains and hopped off the interstate for a fast-food place - we landed @ Cookout. We'll DEFINITELY be hitting a Cookout on our next trip to NC!! That place was awesome! And as mentioned above, nowhere else can you get that much food/drink for $4.25! (Corndog as a SIDE?!? Yup!)
Oh, and their hamburgers taste (and look) like someone in the back patted out the ground beef and cooked it on a grill right there after taking your order.....great, it's 10:30am and now I'm hungry!

Hey ya'll,
My wife and I are driving down for the Carolina vs. Vandy game on the 24th.
This Cook Out place sounds really good (Ohio has nothing like it!).
We're staying in my hometown of Irmo, but geesh it's been 22 years since I've lived there! Which location is easiest to access from the interstate? I searched on the web- apparently the location on five points never opened?
Sorry for sounding like a blasted Northerner not knowing the latest happenings in my hometown. I make my living in Ohio, but my heart and home will always be in South Carolina!
GO GAMECOCKS!
Thanks for your time, consideration and shared feedback,

There is not one off of 77 in SC. your best bet is to stop in Charlotte and get one.
