We've been working on the logistics for the past few weeks. We still aren't done and have A LOT of improvement to make. But we couldn't pass up an opportunity to interview Big George, Ronnie Bass, and many, many other great interviews. Don't pick on Doom too much!
There are some classic, timeless quotes in here guys... Enjoy!
Ronnie Bass and Garry Harper (http://www.firstnameforum.com/pod01.wmv)
Collin Mackie and Jermale Kelly (http://www.firstnameforum.com/pod02.wmv)
Spencer Clark and the 38 special (http://www.firstnameforum.com/pod03.wmv)
Emory Bacon and TomTomUSC (http://www.firstnameforum.com/pod04.wmv)
Obviously you can tell the party progressed long into the night. The footage got VERY dark, but we couldn't pass up the great coverage.
Thanks Doom for taking the bullet and getting in front of the camera. Thanks to all the players for helping Rendezvous raise a TON of money for the George Rogers Foundation.

the insight you got from those legends is second to none. You are not Keith Jackson but I couldn't have asked for better. Thanks for doing it!

I must say this about Doom.
This guy was so busy over the last few weeks. He had to get ready as far as his teaching job. Cockyhoskins, Khosk, Cack, and myself were in pure planning mode, but we knew we needed Doom. He showed up that night and read the few notes we had for him...he hit a home run. This was our first attempt at this and Doom really did an awesome job. I am so proud of the job he did, and I am so greatfull he is apart of Cockytalk.

Great work, guys. I wouldn't try to make it TOO professional in the future. That's what makes it so much fun for the Cocky Talkers. Good stuff.

Watching it was a lot of fun. We are especially appreciative of the players for doing it and Tom for putting it together. Watching the former players doing this was a lot of fun. Spencer Clark, you can tell he is really good story teller. Ronnie Bass was just very smooth and polished in his delivery. And George Rogers has a personality as big as his on-field accomplishments and just a super nice guy.

interviewing is really tricky ... you can be a sniff neck and ask the questions or you can be loose and joke and all that other ... Doom did a great job at keeping it casual ... asking Ron Bass if he really kissed a guy in the locker room and him saying ... No because he would have kicked my you know what ... is as close to casual talk you can have ... i just think we need to get my fan interviews up ... we DEF. need to get the Red Bull girls interview ... just so you know ... the answer she gave me when i asked "are you having fun" left me speechless ... ME ... left ME speechless

Cack, the disk was damaged some how. All those were lost. I think Morgan did it with some kind of mental telepathy when you tried to interview him.

I missed this post the other day. Just got done watching them. Nice job doom. George seems like a great guy. I like how he has so much support for his teams (he'd be fine with Bush breaking his record because it would mean New Orleans was winning). That's just cool.

DOOM you did good man, thanks for everything from Cockytalk while doing this. This was pretty cool.
One question I do have, I thought CH said that these were going to be available through ITunes...Is that true?
One more side-note, I love big George, but he ain't getting to Heaven just by helping kids.....I know that is a whole different can of worms but that ain't the way it works......
Thanks again guys!!!!
