Pushes to the face after positive plays. Ryan Bathea was pushing back(he was the only one). Finally Miami threw Ellis down and the Gamecocks had had enough. Miami is and always will be...the most pathetic group of people when it comes to sportsmanship. It's just their nature.

I remember that game well, they rang Todd's bell the entire night, they were dirty then and they are dirty now, thats one of the reasons I have had no more use for Miami!!! When you play them , its like going to a FIGHT , waiting on a FOOTGAME to break out !!!! :thumbs:

Yeah - that's when I started hating Miami too. I thought they cleaned up their act in recent years but I guess old habits are hard to breadk

CockyTalk is kind of a big deal. Cockytalk was a big deal since the beginning. WIS and others just took a while to notice. Still, it's a good complement. Chuck should be proud.

I remember that game and that 1987 season. Miami was undefeated and won the national championship less than a month later in the Orange Bowl. I think this season was when the thug/gang attitude really took hold at Miami. Many think that may have been the best team ever at Carolina. We lost to Miami (by 4), Nebraska, LSU, (all top 10) and Georgia. Most Carolina fans thought we were on the verge of a break out year. We're still waiting for our break out year.
