Working on it, dude. We've got a bootleg camera that's pretty blurry. Don't get too crazy. They're both pretty small and its just the Gamecock in all black. It was her idea. She was to chicken to do it by herself and since I've got two already, I went ahead and did it, too so she could watch me. It's pretty cool, though, cause it's our own little thing and it'll always remind us of the game that got our program around the corner.

That was almost 10 years ago when we really sucked. I think we went 1-10 and 0-11 shortly after that. I have mixed feelings on the tat. If you're going to get a tattoo, a Carolina one is the best way to go. But I have to say, that I strongly recommend really thinking about whether you want a tat or not. They're pretty much permenant. I like mine, but I don't like mine, if that makes sense. I like it b/c it's a Gamecock, but I don't like it b/c it will always be there. And it's only 10 years old, but eventually it's going to fade and look nasty. And I'm going to have to tell my future children not to get a tattoo, while I have one myself....should be interesting. The tree and moon are in garnet and the state is shaded in with some more black to give it some color. I'll see if I can get a photo of it on this website later today or if you want me to email it to you give me your addy. The feedback i've gotten from it has been really good though. Everyone I've shown it to has liked it a lot and I like it a lot which is most important. Even the guy who was designing it for me after i told him what i wanted said something along the lines of "I've done lots of palmetto trees over the years but I've never had anyone ask for this combo, and I really like it." Took him about an hour to do it and honestly giving blood hurts worse.

Actually what may work to mark where you want Moncks Corner would be to get a little star outlined in black and colored in in Garnet. Not sure how well it would stand out but its a possibility. The people at Tattoo Bill's worked with me though. I had the idea of the state, colors, and palmetto symbol but he suggested the shading and I'm happy he did because it probably would have been too much empty space in the state surrounding the tree.

Preciate it man...didn't catch the guys name but hes a younger guy with a black pony tail who works at Tattoo Bills on Tryon Blvd in Charlotte. He was good though...shot shit with me the whole time. Had I been scared or nervous while getting it he would've definitely lightened the mood but it didn't hurt nor was i nervous. Giving blood hurts worse than getting a tattoo.

No seriously, I've seen tons of people get tattoos because they want to be different, trouble is tons of people are getting tatts, so it's not too different! I really don't care what people do with their bodies, but I will say I've seen a lot of old guys that got tatts when they were in the Army or Navy and other service branches! Thing is, you can't tell what the hell they have on their arm now!! I've looked at a lot of younger girls that have gotten tattoos on their neck, I think about how older ladies and how they generally have short haircuts, there's gonna be a lot of old broads walking into church with that old lady afro doo and a tatt on the back of their neck, not to mention the ones they have in other places, it aint gonna be pretty!

What I'm telling you is that this thing is gonna be with you for life, it's gonna sag and it's gonna look like shit! One day you will regret it! For God sakes don't get it in a visable place, I run a company and I don't care if someone has one on their arm or leg, but I gotta tell ya, I'm not gonna hire someone that has a shitload of tatts and piercings, because that reflects on me as a small business owner... people talk! There are tons of tatt and piercing places here at the beach, I see it all the time! For the love of God, don't get it on the face!!!! Remember, it's with you for life and it hurts like hell to get it removed, so you better make it something that you're gonna be happy with! I've had tons of friends that tried to egg me on into getting one, yet I always said no! But if you don't heed my warning, don't get something stupid like a flash indian that looks more like Otis Nixson, no shit I knew a guy that had one like that!!! Just make sure you're gonna be happy with it!!!! On second thought, you should get BigGeorge accross your back!!!!!!!

I have been thinking about getting one but I am very, very particular about what it would be and more importantly WHO will do it. I took a look at Haley's work and I have to say she is at the top of my list now. She is super clean and really does a good job. Your tat is more than I want on my body but it is done the way I would require one to be done.

Bumping to add my tattoo I got last night.

AJ at Body Rites in 5 Points did the tattoo - I love the shading he did to
give it more depth and make it more than just a solid logoish look.

It's still a little shiny because of the ointment on it, tried not to get too
much reflection in the photo.
