sorry...i don't know who you would have to contact to get a field. but, i mean, there are two football fields outside of blatt (the intramural fields) and i doubt they will be in use. you could probably try the intramural office, but i'm not sure of that number.

I would like to get another practice in, but the Jets are in the playoffs tomorrow at 1:00. I can't practice until that game is over.

I know that the practice has been advertised as 1:30. Well I was Informed that the USC vs. FLA game is at that time and some of you may be going to the game. So practice is gonna be a 3:30,at the ESSEX DRIVE that we have orignally planned practice for. Please come IF you want to play. those that show up for practice will get more playing time. we'd like to have 8-9 guys on the team,for sub purposes. You cant miss the field we are practicing on once you get to essex drive. It is a huge field next to my friend's house. An old Dodge red and white car will be parked in it. I have not really gotten a solid committment from anyone on the Coastal team as of yet.

Here is an idea.

IF things don't work out this weekend, what about if we played the game the day of the Spring Game. Depending on the time of the Spring Game we could play before or after. That way most of us out of town guys would already be in Columbia and it would be on a Saturday and not interferring with people that attend church on Sundays.

The main reason I suggested playing the flag football game on the day of the Spring Game is because it doesn't make much sense to drive 2.5 hours to Columbia unless everyone is positive that the games will be taking place.

If we did it the day of the Spring Game we wouldn't be making the trip for no reason, and more CockyTalk members would probably be heading to Columbia anyway. I think it would be a much better turnout.
