Having some problems with Window Movie Maker.. It has nothing to do with it freezing, fortunately. However, I'm adjusting my video and picture clips so they go better with the sound.. and when I click on a clip it and play it to see if the timing is good it plays at totally different part of the song. That probably seems confusing.. Example: My third clip starts 20 seconds into the song, if I play the song from the start. However if I just click on the clip and hit play then it starts at a random time, like 15 seconds into the song. Anyone know what's wrong, or what I'm doing wrong, it's really frustrating..
is it dragged all the way to the beggining of your video...

Oh, forgot to include that.. No it follows a little intro song and like 6 seconds of audio... Those work fine... It comes after those, and plays the whole song. WMM also messed up with the song, they added about 1 min 30 seconds to the song.. it's confusing, I know.

I am not sure what your problem is but one thing that might help you is: When editing clips there are three different ways to do this.
1 shortening from the front. this cuts off the first sec/mins of the video
2 shortening from the rear. this cuts off the last sec/mins of the video
3 slowing down and speeding up
i don't know if this helps. good luck

hmmmmmm , not sure why the timing is off other than , make sure you don't have 50 other things going when you're trying to encode , encoding takes up a hell of a lot of CPU and it could be that say if you're playing"clip 3" or whichever , the audio isn't going to match because it hasn't finished interleaving with the video yet.I'm no WMM expert but that's a few things you can try. It's a pain but to get it right , encode 3 or 4 clips with the music and finish and save it somewhere , then go check it to see if it's correct. If it is , then you can finish the whole thing without worrying if it's out of sync. Also make sure the audio is wma format to go along with the wmv video format.

Yeah I have the same problem. I have to play the thing starting from the beginning all the way through to see if its where I need it to be.
Oh can I be apart of the Garnet Army as well?
