I've never made poll because I didn't know how to...so please, elaborate a little more. You have me very confused. I see the check boxes on the bottom but when I click one and go to "preview post" I don't see any graphs or stuff like that, so I don't know what's going on.

ok, try to edit that post. then click GO ADVANCED. scroll to the area below the txt box, there is an area for uploading pics, and other things. WHEN YOU CREATE A NEW THREAD
you will have the option for creating a poll or placing a bet i'll popst a screen capture old of identification.

One more thing, it doesn't end there. You actually have to "settle the bets" once the event is over. You have to click on the winner and then click "settle bets". Hope this helps

The person who sets up the bet has to do this, right?

Correct. For a two selection bet, you will select one or both as winners (allows a push I guess) or you can select a box where there were no winners and all stakes are returned...

Ok, so I tested it out and everything seemed to work fine but I'm still a little mystfied about the Odds. Can someone speak in baby terms what it means....

10 to 1 means for every 1 bet 10 will be paid out. Say you have 25 vCash, you bet 1 on a selection that has 10/1 odds, and that selection is the winner. At bet time you have 24 (i is staked) and at win time you have 35 (the stake is returned and the 10 are paid out)
Probably clear as mud now...

Do I get some kind of "Booking Posting Fee"? Like if a post something really good and lots of people put money down, do I get 10% of all money placed down? Cause that would be awesome.

That would be awesome...because the Carolina/Citadel bet paid out over 48,000. I will gladly take 4,800 of that!
Actually, all the money that is wagered and lost on a bet...where is that going? I think khosk or hoskins is pocketing it!

HEEELP!!!:club:
Okay y'all....sorry, but I'm still not getting it. I clicked the box for creating a vbookie thread and previewed the post, but nothing. Do I need to attach anything?....do anything with number in the poll box?....what? How do I create the box and put the teams in there for everyone to be able to make a bet? THX!

Ok. Type the thread like "I think we will kill LSU, place your bets" and title it USC @ LSU. Then click on MAKE VBOOKIE at the bottom. Then click post. After that, you will be sent to the page to make your vbookie. I must warn you all though that once you click post you can not change your mind. You must continue through with making the bet, or you will have a randomly blank post in the vbookie section.

The one part I don't understand does the money to pay out for the wagers come from the person who sets up the bet? I have seen people set up bets with little money in their vcash account. What I want to know is if I set up a bet will nothing happen to my vcash account and basically the only way I win or lose money is thru what I actually wager on the game and in reality it is cockytalk that takes in or pays out all money wagered?

Using the Dallas game as an example Will set up a bet on this game I know he had less than $50,000 in vcash before the game and yet more than a million got paid out where did the money come from? The reason I ask is I might want to set up some bets, but don't want to get wiped out of vcash by some really rich if they bet more on one side than I take in?
