Sorry Cack, been on and off the board, still recovering from some hellacious dental surgery last week! I don't know the spot yet, it will be reserved SS parking in the fairgrounds, so I'll know more when parking passes are sent out. It is supposed to be reserved this year and not first come first serve, so if the University gets it right it will be across from WB, I figure that would be pretty central. I'll try to call the GCC or ticket office tommorow to see if they have any idea of when the passes are being sent out.

I guess we could have some people throw out some menu choices, the cooker can hold a whole pig, I don't know if we'd need that much, we could do a half or butts, chickens, burgers, whatever. It has two front burners to cook on also for hash and rice or whatever. I'm probably gonna shoot up a turkey with some marinade and cook it on there this weekend this weekend so I'll see that turns out. Like I said before I'm pretty open so y'all throw out some suggestions.

Mom used to have a cooking show up in Eastern NC for a couple of years, she's used to cooking for a lot of people, makes it look like nothing! I'll get her to make a crapload of wings which I can keep warm using the cooker, and maybe some of that mexican layer dip, I've brought that tailgaiting a few times and it keeps well in the cooler.

There is parking close by but you are gonna have to pay some $$$$. Last year it was 20 a spot where we parked but I definately know that has gone up. Last year when I went I didn't know too many people who went to the games on a regular basis. I think it will be hot, but no where near this heat, I heard on the weather channel or something the other day that this will be the hottest week we have all year. I will have a tent, so that will keep some of the sun off. I was thinking about the heat factor, probably best not to cook a pig or something where the cooker has to be on for awhile. I'm gonna have my mom cook a crapload of wings the night before and make some of that mexican layer dip. I'm gonna bring some hamburger meat and hotdogs, so the probably be plenty to go around, and if somebody wants to bring something to throw on the grill thats cool also. I'll have 3 or 4 coolers in the back of my truck if somebody needs a place to store some beer on ice. I bought a cool Garnet shaker last year that I have not put to use yet, so I'll probably have a bottle of vodka and a bottle of jager in the cooler along with some beer.

I just found out that my tailgate on the rosewood lot has gone to being five cars and paying for six spaces. Man I didn't know we were throwing down like that but I am going to be the first one there and am going to be getting the six spots together. There are numbered signs that you can follow to the space, I am going to call and find out if I can get a better idea of the general area. The fairgrounds open five hours prior to kickoff, I will try to be outside the gates in plenty of time to get in at 2:00 pm!

So far, I've read through about 27 "I'm going to be there's" or "I'm going to stop by's". Of course, I'm sure there are some that haven't read the thread or responded to the thread that also plan to stop by, but an estimate of 30 is about I all know as of now.
