seriously ... wonder what date this was taken on ... the "newest" date i see other than "today" is 6-25 ... i joined a few months after in Oct. ... site looked like that back in the day
wow only 10 forums ... i remember one day i had the last post on all of the sports forums

go to the member list and do a search for join date ... and search through 8k posters ... look on your profile page and see when your join date was and you can make it a little easier on yourself ... other than that i have no clue

There is a site...and the URL is escaping my brain right now...that you can view almost any web page from any particular month. I did this for CockyTalk not too long ago, just never posted the link here. I think someone also mentioned this in the Water Cooler recently.

Go to this site and type in any web address. It will pull up a range of dates for you to look at the site as it appeared at that time

Another interesting thing to do is pull up any newsite...CNN, FOX, etc...on 9/11/2001. You can read the articles as things were happening. It's like a time machine.

Go to your member profile page. It will say member #423. However you must delete 209 from that (database modification). So if you are member 423, you were the 214th person to join.

:lol: I remember reading the threads where ya'll talked about the software and the pros and cons of this and that. I was thinking "Hey when are these nerds gonna talk some football!" I'm glad I hung around. Gamecock Central was very important to me oh so many years ago and I was very sad when it was bought out. I'm glad I finally found an alternative!

Im generally new here but looks like we came a long way from 2 years ago. I want to thank everyone who makes this site possible, the people who entertain me with there post, and most of all some of the best gamecock fans in the world. Im only 15 and ive found somewhere where i can talk gamecock sports in details an people actually know what im talking about. When i try to talk sports with some of my other high school friends only a few can talk gamecock sports knowlegbly.
Once again thanks to everyone who makes this a place where i can talk gamecocks with some of the best in the world

It's just a template. One clemson site tigerpawtalk.com has the same layout. I found this site by looking for different Carolina sites on google. It was before the season started last year.

Nah - the software is purchased from vbulletin (i think) Khosk could tell you more. As far as i know anyone can purchase the software to run a message board with it.

I would be member 1,220 then...I joined in September of 2005...just a little after the site had opened, so that shows how fast it started to grow! I posted a decent bit at first, but most of my posting has came within the last year or so when I got away from other message boards I was a member of.
