I ran across a few cheaper generators when searching for a power supply for tailgating but I also ran across some power converters. Does anyone have expierience with any of these and could maybe give me some pros and cons to each one. Thanks ahead of time.

The best way is get one of the Honda generators. Check power load and make sure you have enough. They are super quiet.

The inverters work good too. They can drain your battery on long tailgates.
Again check power usage.

I used one before I got my generator, like said above you have to keep starting your car about every 30 min. It pushed a 30in tv, sat box and fan and that was it, but if there is too much of a load it will keep shutting off. My advice if u wanna go that route, buy one, set up a fake tailgate n your driveway so you know what you can do. You dont wanna get out to your spot and it not work
