Baseball Adds 3 More For ‘09

The 2009 USC baseball commitment class now numbers five with three more additions. The latest to commit to the Gamecocks are 3B Christian Walker (6-0 190) of Limerick, PA, SS Christopher Owens (5-10 170) of Gilbert and RHP/OF Dre Watts (6-0 190) of Laurens.

Is Walker our first out-of-state commit since Coach Toman left?

I think so not completely sure.

I think a pitcher from Virginia (can't remember his name) and a pitcher from Georgia (Belcher) committed after Toman left.

I don't know if it is official but I heard he would come here. but I have also heard that if he is drafted in a decent round he is gone.
