Heard Tanner hired a Director of Baseball Operations,first time USC's ever had that position.Does anyone know who got the job?

Jamie Speronis does that job for Spurrier and the football team. He is in charge of setting up Spurrier's schedule, handling requests for Spurrier's time, signature, etc. and basically making sure Spurrier and the assistant coaches have whatever they need to do their job. In basketball, however, this position seems to be just another assistant coach.

Article in today's Spartanburg Herald states that Kyle Lipsey from Jonesville is the new Director of Baseball and Softball Operations.He has been with the baseball team the last 5 years as manager.He will handle all the travel stuff,order uniforms,make sure everything at the field is ready to go, etc.I hear he has basically been Tanner's right hand man.
