Whats the normal course of action if a potential recruit leaves a JuCo midseason?
Can they go to a tech school and then play D1 ball the following year? Or do they have to go to another JuCo?
Whats the SOP for something like this?

Unless the rules have changed he has to obtain a 2 year degree before he can transfer to a 4 year school of any kind. I don't think tech schools meet the criteria for the JC degree. He has to find a JC somewhere that will take him, get his degree, and then attempt to transfer.
For the student you are referring to, his biggest problem is that he currently is not in school and his NCAA clock started last year at GMC.

One big problem with the Jarriel King issue is that if he ends up attending another JUCO school then he automatically is banned from attending any SEC school. The SEC has a policy that states if you attend 2 different Junior College institutions then you cannot attend an SEC school to play sports.

That dumb rule cost us a star basketball player who then went to FLorida State and made 1st team All ACC. SEC needs a level playing field with the ACC and others in cases like this.

Then it's safe to say Jarriel King won't be coming to USC. That's sad because he was supposed to be a beast.

Only reason I could really give you would be just that the SEC holds itself to a higher standard because it thinks its the best. I tend to agree that it is the best but it does suck that if Jarriel has to enroll in another JUCO before he becomes eligible that we won't be seeing him in Garnet and Black.
