Virginia viewing party for Ga. game

The USC Alumni Club of Hampton Roads (aka Tidewater) invites all Gamecock fans to join us in downtown Norfolk to watch the Georgia game. We are at AJ Gators sports bar on Granby Street, probably going to be upstairs. Should be a good time!

Don't know if anyone will read it in this area of Cockytalk, but I can report we had a good turnout at our event in Norfolk. Had 25-30 Gamecock faithful making a lot of noise and "representing" very well.

There was a surprising number of females who showed up! Real women DO love football. We had a mix of recent grads and more experienced fans, and one former football player from the class of '83.

Most of the sports bar was full of Va. Tech fans as you might expect, but we had the second floor to ourselves and we were loud as hell quite often, especially when we picked off that last pass to seal the win. It was awesome and it made the win even sweeter to enjoy it with fellow Gamecocks.

This gathering was assisted by the Alumni Assocation which sent out postcards, and they gave us a bunch of USC goodies to hand out. Everybody got something.

Any Gamecock fans within shouting distance of Norfolk can PM about attending another get together. We are having another event this season, but not sure when.
