We have 3 of the top 23 with Baker coming in at 9, Allen at 12, and Auguste at 23 with all being 4 stars, if you're into that sort of thing.

They all have 5 years to play 4. It's just like coming out of high school. All 3 should be Gamecocks barring something unforseen.

It's another option to go to and it's like a 5th year of high school. Kids go there to help get grades in order or if they just need a test score. Once you enroll in JUCO, you have to graduate. You don't have to finish the year for prep, most kids just go for like a 5th year senior would in college, finish up in Dec. and enroll in Jan.

Does it surprise anyone else that Auguste, who was ranked higher than Baker and Allen last season, is now ranked lower without much football being played in between???

Just seemed a bit strange to me.

yea thats what I was wondering lol. Don't get me wrong I'm glad Baker and Allen are now 4 stars, but what exactly changed in the couple games they have played so far??

Who knows...it could be the other two just got much better over the summer, maybe added some weight, strength, quickness. It could be all kinds of things.

Of course, it ended up working in our favor, but that's beside the point. Everyone knows he was originally set to go to VT out of high school, went to prep school and then decommitted from them and signed with us. Recruits can and will change their minds sometimes.
