6'2 175lbs 4.9 40 I played QB some last year, but having a QB was a moot point last year since we had no offensive line, hence why we got throttled. We seriously need a line first...its not a glamour position, but without it nothing happens. If me or whoever else plays back there gets some time to set our feet I have a feeling we might be able to move the ball...but last year I couldnt even get my grip on the ball before I was scrambling away from 3-4 people in the backfield...so we need some big uglies bad!! Everything else will take care of itself after that.

Leave the downfield stuff for our better receivers...I am awful at tracking the ball in the air, if you guys remember from our Horseshoe game last year. I've done my share of blocking in intramurals as a running back, so I've got no problem doing that. Blocking in flag football is all about having quick feet and getting in the way of the defender.

well the honest answer has two parts

1) i'm too short to play college football, while not having the weight i'd need to play at my height. i'm about captain's size, but he's in better shape than i am.
2) i couldn't play HS cause i blew my knee out, then my other knee a couple years later, then my senior year almost broke my neck, had to do the whole rehab thing and all.

but the funny answer is cause i'm TOO awesome. trust me, if given the chance, i'll back my words up on the field.

So i thought I would play just fine, but then in the game I didnt touch the ball once. Then i played OL and got a little dump pass and ran it to the "1" (Which I still say I was in) on 4th down.

It was alot harder than it was just talking about it here... thats all i am saying in all that rambling and joking up there...

We can remedy that however by having a consistent o-line and getting on the same page in the route running department...all which comes in practice which is NOT what we did last year.

Changing the subject, I dont have to be QB and if you take what happened last year everyone would say I sucked...but to tell you the everybody sucked who played QB on our team. Anywho I have a feeling (sight unseen) that between me and McNasty we can make something happen offensively...I can step out wide since I have some heighth and can outjump...but everyone has to be there at the same time and we have to start meshing and coming together as a team or we might as well not do this.

we will add a "no running over someone" run ... that was a lot of the reason the olines died last year ... you couldn't "block" ... so when people came sprinting the lines just moved ... this will be inforced the same as a charging is called in basketball ... the defender has to try with all his power to NOT run into the offensive guy

me and dude collided in the endzone, there was a scare of internal bleeding in my abdomen and broken nose. turns out just internal bruising, badly bruised thigh and my face is fine.

we'll have a couple of mandatory practices ... to see what everyone has ... everyone will pretty much play a little bit of everything though ... obviously everybody wants to be WR or QB ... so we'll mix it up some where and there

i was the QB last year most of the time ... lets just saw i was the Offensive MVP of the game ... threw for like 7 TDs caught one and ran for 2 ... my cuz (cockshaft) was the defensive MVP with 4-5 picks and 3 returned for TDs ... not braggin ... just saying
