(4* tight end from GA)
Reading what he wants in a school (a young qb, a young oline, and chance to win a championship)....whatt better school than USC to attend?

He is committed to Jawja...But we have a good shot...He is coming in for an official visit....If we keep winning and have the season we are capable of having, this recruiting class is gonna be really good...Despite some of the early whinning and crying by naysayers

On a rivals article he's quoted as saying he loves the fact that we want to utilize him in double tight sets and the H Back position. We're climbing quickly with this young man.

Well with Georgia, Stafford will be a junior when he arrives. Maybe he considers that young?

Allen Going To Blacksburg Thursday
By Phil Kornblut
The big ACC showdown between Boston College and Virginia Tech Thursday night in Blacksburg will attract nationwide attention, but it won't attract the large number of major recruits who ordinarily would attend a game like this played on a Saturday because of school and high school games the next day. But one major recruit who plans to be at Lane Stadium is TE Dwayne Allen (6-4 240) of Fayetteville, NC. Allen said Wednesday night he will be in Blacksburg for the game. Allen has been committed to Georgia but has been checking out other places. He has been to games this season at USC, Georgia, North Carolina and NC State. Asked if he remains a Georgia commitment, Allen said, "No comment." But he did say Georgia was still his favorite. Allen talked with USC recruiter Fred Chatham Wednesday night. "He just asked about how I was doing," he said. "He talked about where he saw me in their offense and the different types of things they can do with a guy like me." Clemson recruiter Chris Rumph scouted Allen last Friday night. And he also talked with the Georgia tight end coach a couple of nights ago. Except for an official visit to Georgia, Allen said he's undecided about his other trips

Allen Trims List By Two
By Phil Kornblut
TE Dwayne Allen (6-4 240) of Fayetteville, NC has cut two teams from his list and he works on his plans for January official visits. Off his board are Florida and Virginia. That leaves USC, Clemson, North Carolina, Florida State and Virginia Tech vieing for his four January visits. Allen has visited Georgia and said he remains committed to the Bulldogs. Allen will play in the Under Armour All Star Game in Orlando and might decide on his other official visits during that week.

I thought he was going to Georgia. We've seemed to have forgotten about this kid. Would be a huge pickup, IMO.

I think I saw something about him narrowing down to three teams. Is that correct and/or anything new regarding him? As far as I know though, hes still committed to UGA.
