McAdoo Eyeing October USC Visit

DE Michael McAdoo (6-7 218) of Antioch, TN has not scheduled his official visits, but he is looking to make a trip to USC when the Gamecocks host Vanderbilt. He's also planning to set up visits with North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Tennessee. McAdoo talked with his Gamecock recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. earlier this week. "South Carolina is still showing strong interest," he said. McAdoo does not have a favorite. He has been to a game at Vanderbilt.

That is one tall DE but he better start eating his Wheaties. I don't know much about him but will look up the stats now that I know he is on our list.

McAdoo Sets USC Visit

DE Michael McAdoo (6-7 218) of Antioch, TN has set up three of his official visits with USC to be one of his stops. He is scheduled to visit the Gamecocks January 18th. McAdoo will visit Kentucky December 14th and North Carolina January 11th. He also will set an official visit with Vanderbilt. He's undecided about his fifth visit. McAdoo said he hears from USC recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. weekly and he was by his school last week. "He tells me how much I could fit in in South Carolina's program," McAdoo said. He plans to make an unofficial visit to USC for the Florida game. He also has offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee State, Memphis and Kentucky.

McAdoo Set On Four Visits

DE Michael McAdoo (6-7 218) of Antioch, TN has set four official visits with the first this weekend at Kentucky. He will visit North Carolina January 11th, USC on the 18th and Vanderbilt January 25th. He's unsure about his fifth visit. Coaches from USC, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Kentucky and North Carolina have been in to visit McAdoo. He calls Vanderbilt his favorite followed by USC, Kentucky and North Carolina. "It's because of their education, their degree, and how easy it would be for me to find a job," McAdoo said.

Any news on this kid? Have we backed off since Byrd committed and we are in good shape to get Harbin and Taylor? I think this guy ends up somewhere in Tennessee.
