We're still months away too. This game comes out in November. A lot of polishing left to do.

Most are. They may not look like it due to the angles; however, using the dev's software, you can freezee the gameplay and float around the setting.

The visuals you see are what you'll see during gameplay. These stills don't even show the animation. In motion, you have 1,000's of animations on the main character model alone. A lot of layers.

Wow that's pretty awesome. I've been thinking I wanto upgrade to a new system sometime and have been thinking about both, PS3 is probably better in the long run.

These pictures make this game look awesome and I'm usually just a sports game kind of guy.

Oh my God this game looks awesome. I would've liked some sort of online MP... like online co-op, but I'm still pretty excited about it. I was just watching some videos about it, and here are gif animations some have made from them.

(Yes... his clothes get wet after he goes into the water. They dry when he gets out and walks around the place. This is the first time I've seen this in a video game.)

The graphics are amazing, but I'm not sold on the gameplay/story yet. But it certainly has potential...a lot of it...

I saw some previews on Kotaku, and I really hope they beef up the explosion animations. Other than that, it looks gorgeus. The water effect you described is a nice touch, too.

Only one person on my buddies list is playing it. The rest are either on Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty 4 (the majority being CoD).

I got this game in the mail Wednesday, and I've been playing it every morning since. I've gotten about 6 hours in.

It's incredible. There's a few (and I mean few) v-sync issues here and there, but it doesn't rob from the experience.

I won't reveal much, but the story has had some twists so far. I'm on chapter 13, and there are 21 I believe. I know Naughty Dog said they would release free DLC so that we can associate the game with Home, so I'm looking forward to that.

I've never played Tomb Raider, so I can't comment on the similarities, if there are any.

I played the demo and it was amazing. Looking foward to getting it one of these days. Of course I still haven't beaten COD4, Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword, or Stranglehold yet cause of GH3...the life of a college student

If you have not, is a real good game to get and play IMO. Various different styles of game play and a great storyline is making it one of the best games I have ever played. Graphics are really impressive as well.

I started a thread about it recently. I got it in the mail Wednesday (EDIT: Wednesday before Thanksgiving, not yesterday) and I'm almost done with it. The story is incredible.

I won't give any spoilers, but I love how Naughty Dog went with an unconventional enemy towards the end compared to what we see in these types of games.

Best animations ever, one of the best console graphics ever (if not the best), great textures, great story, really fun and satisfying gameplay. The only negative is that it's only 10 hours. I wish it was more, but then again these games shouldn't be long. Uncharted is like a movie, and I don't think a "7-hour" movie would be good (ie a ~20-hour game).

Finished it a few days ago. Very good game. Awesome story line and they left it wide open at the end which means a sequel maybe.
Graphics are awesome, my mother-in-law walked in while I was playing and she thought it was a movie lol.

Cant wait to see if there is more in the future.

I think it's good... many of those in this thread (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204857&page=235) think it's good. I don't know what you'll think for certain.

Yeah, If I recall correctly. The developers said they had put in over 10,000 different motions as compared to the average 600 or so for this type game.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune has hit a milestone in sales as VG Chartz is reporting that the game has sold one million copies worldwide. This is great news for the PlayStation industry as it shows developers that the PlayStation 3 has the installed user base in order to put up quick and impressive numbers for exclusive content.

Anyone who has played this monster title will tell you that it’s an incredible experience and worthy of more than one play-through. Naughty Dog has released a lot of great material for PS fans worldwide and this one did not disappoint at all. For those of you that missed our review of Uncharted, you can check it out here.

When it comes down to sales, Uncharted is definitely the wrong word for it, as gamers have definitely charted through this experience at a rising rate.
