Another bad delay for PlayStation 3: Midway announced today via their investor relations site that the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 has been delayed into Q1 2008.

The game was a big part of Sony's E3 press conference, where they hyped up the fact that UT3 is developed by Gears of War creators Epic Games and slated to arrive on PlayStation 3 this holiday, whereas the Xbox 360 version would not ship until 2008.

Much like the delays of Home and LittleBigPlanet into 2008, this is another black eye for PlayStation 3's Christmas.

I use to play Unreal back in the day... if the game lives up to it's hype, I'd give myself a 90% chance of buying it for my PC later on. Looks like it's going to be good!

Playstation 3 gamers will be able to get a hold of Epic Games' Unreal Tournament III starting tomorrow at retailers. GameStop is now showing the FPS game "ships in 24 hours."

From today's Unreal Tournament 3 press announcement:
