Just got a Wii

hey eveyone, just got a Wii this past week, i picked up Resident Evil 4,(which is a great game on the Wii by the way), but does anyone else know what the good games for the Wii are? i knw Super Smash Bros. comes out in Feb. and tht GH3 is coming out on the Wii, but what are some other kool games?

Zelda is pretty good and I assume that Metroid is good as well. The new Mario game comes out pretty soon I think.

Zelda is a must buy. Trauma Center is really fun as is Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, Sonic and the Secret Rings, and Wario Ware. I've heard really good things about Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy looks like a must buy when it comes out. Also don't forget to check out the Virtual Console to see all the old games you can buy.

dude tiger woods 2007 is awesome... (if you like golf) great graphics (for a wii) cool courses, players are realistic and accurate (for a wii).. etc.. i strongly recomend...

Me and my girlfriend just busted out the Wii that her mom bought her little brother for Christmas hehe. We have been playing the Wii sports pack that comes with it. We're both sweeting up a storm but it's fun as hell. We are about to go to Hollywood Video and rent a few games.

i got a wii too. have wii sports and wii play thats it. definitley looking forward to the new star wars game. cant wait to finally be able to use a lightsaber

i guess there is something out there for everyone, but i have played it and wasn't impressed. i really do think that wii is for children and allgamecock's mom.

Nothing against your mother, but i am going to assume she isn't a Halo 3 addict, just using that as an example for my point. My buddy bought one for his kids, and his 65 year old parents play it.

IMO the game titles Nintendo releases have always been oriented towards a younger audience/less experienced game player. You ever see them release a GTA. Nope, they rewash zelda and mario.

The only thing interesting about it is the interaction with the game, but i can't see myself in a 5hr marathon of "virtual bowling" on the sports pack.

I've often wondered if mkpkr is right about it being targetted at newbie gamers. Ie, will the novel control system have staying power, or will it just be something cute that people forget about in a year or two.

Has anyone tried madden on there? Is it fun with the control system on the wii?

I played a bit of Mario Galaxy yesterday, and it's fantastic. Only a couple more weeks!
