Friends of mine are telling me they are having a hard time finding them as well...looking for X-mas gifts already. They have only found these "bundles" which jack the price up a few hundred dollars.

They have them at the Wal-Mart in Greenwood. You can also get some NIB off of EBay. Just don't be fooled by people selling the Wii w/the sport pack or Wii play and telling you it includes 15 games.

You are gonna have a hard time finding anything other than the "bundles" on web sites. You may also want to check out amazon and some of those type sites. You'll probably have better luck than checking sites like Best Buy, Circuit City, Target or Wal-Mart.

I personally would recommend EBay. A lot of people are uncomfortable buying electronics off of ebay but I've never had any bad experiences. And as long as you don't pay more than the normal price you should be covered under the same warrenties as if you bought it from Wal-Mart.

And no, I wasn't suggesting that you drive to Greenwood. But if you keep checking local stores they will eventually get some in.

I am in the market for one now, and to be honest, I think that the bundles on ebay are a pretty good deal. You get all the wii sports games and two controllers and two nun-chucks for less than $400. Not a bad deal in IMO.

For those of you who have not played a Wii...it is addictive, even for a 30 year old like me!

The Wii sport pack COMES WITH THE Wii. If you go to Wal-Mart and buy a Wii you get the Console, the Stand, the Wii Sports pack, A WiiMote and the nunchuk controller.

Alot of the ebay sellers advertise the same $250 unit as mentioned above as "A brand new Wii, 4 games, and 2 controllers"

Just be very careful about buying the bundles on ebay. Compare them to what you get in the store first.

So really you would be paying almost $150 for a second controller set.

TY TY TY, I was about to order one...so for $250 you get the games? So the only difference for what I posted was just one controller? If so the ebay deals are AWFUL!!!

PTS for saving me a lot of heartache and money!

There are still good deals on EBay. you just have to be careful the Wii Sports pack comes with the system and has a baseball, golf, boxing, bowling, and tennis game. Some will also advertise the Wii play game set. This is a set that comes with 9 games and WiiMote. I don't think it comes with a nunchuk. So you have to watch out for bundles advertising 14 games because it sounds like a great deal but it really is a rip off.

You can still get some of the bundles at a fair price you just have to be careful. This one is the Wii and the Wii Play game. Which is $300 plus tax in the store.

It was $250 when I posted it which would have been a great deal. It's already gone up.

Go to any big box store.

Or put your name on a list at Gamestop.

I bought one for the wifes birthday two months ago. No stock problems then...

Try KMart - no one ever goes there nowadays. They are hit or miss because they will only get one or two in their shipments, but they have accessories and games if you want to buy those for now instead of bundle. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I just bought one today....the dude where I bought mine said that there will be a lot available for the upcoming holiday shopping weekend...so if you are looking, I would not pay anyone more than $250 + tax
