USC women fall in playoffs; men beat Kentucky

The South Carolina women’s soccer team fell to second-seed Georgia 2-0 in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament at the Orange Beach Soccer Complex in Orange Beach, Ala. South Carolina (14-6-2) now awaits word on the 64-team field for the NCAA Tournament to be announced Monday night.
USC men beat Kentucky -- In Columbia, Mike Lindsay scored a pair of goals to lead South Carolina (10-5-2, 4-2-2 Conference USA) past Kentucky in the regular-season finale for both teams. USC has already clinched a berth in the C-USA tournament.
