Aw, that stinks. I know he's still playing basketball for a living, but he's got to be disappointed. I'm disappointed for him. I hope he makes it back up.

There is just too much talent on Boston's roster for him to get any burn.

There's a thread in here called Kelley Headed To Europe with the following info:
Kelley Headed To Europe
Phil Kornblut
Published August 13, 2007
Former USC point guard Tre Kelley has signed a contract with Cibona Zagreb, the champion of the Croatian Basketball (http://www.goupstate.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?template=wiki&text=Basketball) League, and considered to be one of the top pro teams in Europe. Kelley reports for the start of practice August 16th. Kelley was not taken in the NBA Draft this summer and did not land a job as a free agent. He most recently tried out with the Miami Heat. Kelley averaged 19 points and 5 assists per game last season and was named the winner of the Francis Pomeroy Naismith Award as the best player in the country under six feet.

everyteam is allowed to send 1 or 2 guys down to the d-league, i think they would rather have him develop his game in the d-league rather than sit on the bench in a coat and tie every game
