Now that my 360 is on its way to the repair shop at Microsoft, I have started playing with the Wii a little more.

I bought the new Mario game that came out yesterday. It is pretty fantastic. If you ever played Mario 64, it is like that except the levels are 20x better.

The people at Nintendo must have been on some serious drugs to have been this creative with their levels.

I would recommend looking into it.

I love this game so far. Probably the best platformer I've ever played.

To quote family guy, "Can't it be a little bit of both?"

The game has very beautiful environments, amazing music, and hard, but extremely fun gameplay. I can hardly put it down.

I think the Wii will be my next console because of Mario. I've wanted a Wii and PS3 for a while, but all of the rave reviews about Mario Galaxy have made my choice for me.

Now, the task of finding one sometime before summer of 2009... lol

Good luck with that. I'm just glad I got one last year.

Eh, I play enough FPS on PC and 360. The genre is all the same. Mario is a great deviation.

Like Wu Tang Financial says "You need to diversify your bonds b*tches!"

i understand your point......but i have limited time to game, so i have to pick and choose carefully. if i had a wii, i would not own this game for the simple fact that when i do get time to game, i'd rather be playing something else. just not enough time to go around for all the cool games out there....

by the way, have you played CoD4 yet?

Yea, it is pretty nice looking. But I am not going to buy it. It isn't anything revolutionary and like you said, there isn't enough time to spread around.
