Legal and Illegal Fouls and Blocking

a. Offensive screen blockers should take place with non-aggressive contact. The screen blocker shall have his/her hands and arms tucked to the chest. (elbows are allowed to be out)

b. Defensive players must go around the offensive player’s screen block. All effort must be made to avoid aggressive contact with the screen blocker.

c. Two-on-one blocking is permitted, behind or on the line of scrimmage. High-low blocks and cross body blocks are illegal.

d. Blocking below the chest is illegal.

e. Running or diving into the back, by throwing or dropping the body across the back of the legs of an opponent is clipping and illegal.

f. It is a foul for a player to grab, hold, pull, elbow, trip, kick, or pushes any player. Example: in order to get an opponents flag.

g. It is a foul to tackle, trip, kick, push, or elbow the ball carrier. It is a foul for the defensive player to stiff-arm tackle the ball carrier.

Ball Carrier
a. It is a penalty for the ball carrier to charge into, and knee, kick or lower
his/her head and attempt to run over an opponent. (stiff arm is ONLY allowed in the chest/arm of the defensive player)

b. The ball carrier may not knock a defensive players arm from pulling his/her flag.

c. The ball carrier must try and avoid contact with defensive players at all times.

Flags and Player Equipment
a. Each offensive player is required to wear a belt at his/her waist with three flags attached, one on each side and the back of the body, hanging vertically.

b. The flags are not to be tied in any way. Belts must be over top of tucked in shirt or jacket. Wrapping, taping or in anyway securing the flags to the shirt other than prescribed is illegal.
c. If a players flags fall off then it immediately turns to 2 hand tag.

d. Helmets, padded uniform, leather or other hard unyielding substances on the hands, wrist, forearms, or elbows are illegal.

e. Players are not allowed to wear metal cleats. Rubber cleats are the only shoes allowed. The player must leave the game until they are removed. No playing in bare feet or stockings.

Scoring & Plays
a. Touch down is worth 6 points.

b. An opportunity to score one point from the 3-yard line and 2 points from the 10-yard line (run or pass).

c. Safety 2 points - after a safety, the team whom the safety is scored places the ball in play on its own 5-yard line instead of taking a punt.
