Hey guys, this is your chance to get any questions off your chest that you may have.
In conjunction with the 100 years of basketball, I'm writing a big cover story on the 1996-1997 SEC Championship team.
I will be having a long, sit down interview with former head coach Eddie Fogler.
If there are any questions that you would like me to ask, post it here. Questions about that team? His tenure at USC? His current thoughts on USC? anything.
post it here.

Ask him to give us his opinion of USC's team this year, their talent and what are their chances of making to the NCAA's.

Ask him about his working relationship with McGee. Whe did it go downhill? When Ro was disciplined by McGee rather than letting Eddie handle it?

Yeah I second that ask him about Mcgee disciplining Howell and Holtz being able to discipline Watson. Ask him about Donovan's recruiting and if he thinks recruiting has been cleaned up any since he left.

I'll sticky it.
I was always a big fan of Fogler. Love him or hate him... he tells the truth.
I'd like to know his opinion of AAU corruption in basketball and recruiting corruption in general.

Ask him about recruiting at USC.
What was the hardest thing about it?
What was his selling point to recruits?
What does he think odom could use as a selling point to attract better players?
Also, ask him about his thoughts on odom saying we can't compete...in correlation with him basically getting fired because he said it wasnt realistic to expect USC to make the big dance every year.

Ask him if he will come back if Dave somehow exited the picture?
Ask him his thoughts on us losing in the first round and his thoughts on the causes.

I would like to know his honest opinion of Carolina basketball as a program in general and has it improved any since McGee left.
I would like to know why, in a season of 30+ games, it's unreasonable to expect 20 regular season wins and a 50/50 record in conference every year. I would also like to know if he really believed that or was just trying to get McGee's goat.
Does he still consider himself a Gamecock?
Would he ever take a coaching job again?

Who was his favorite player to coach?
How much of a chance did we actually have to get Kevin Garnett or Jermaine O'Neil to come to Carolina?
Thanks, good luck with the interview.

Wow...all the negativity and wasted commentary on gossip-type material. I would like to know more about his thoughts on fairness across the board in regards to officiating (per the time his team was in a "can't lose" situation at the end of the game/SEC final vs. Alabama and the one ref openly disregarded the rules twice, causing us to lose). It seems as though it's very tough for USC to get fair officiating sometimes in basketball and football. Does he feel that to ever be the case and if so, how can that be overcome?

That situation really hurt me. I would like to know his comments on this as well. It very well could have been a program's defining moment. It might have been the one win to help push us to top 25 status every season. Who knows, but we surely did get robbed that day.

Ask him why he never got back into coaching....and if he would like the USC job.

Ask him what it would take to get USC back to the heights of the late 60's/early 70's. IMO it would take a return to the ACC because I still feel that is our natural home. Look at the awesome rivalries we would have.
