New Bowl

I'm thinking we could sell a Cal vs. Carolina game. Spurrier vs. Tedford; two one-time top 10 teams who finished 6 and 6 and went uninvited to one of the 32 ridiculous NCAA-sanctioned beauty contests they call "championships." Which team will go out a winner? We can call it the Don't Kiss Your Sister Bowl and play it in Phoenix, where we can all play golf and go to the game. It would give deserving guys like Andy Boyd, Lanard Stafford (my favorite player) and Casper Brinkley a chance to go out with a winning season, and it would be more meaningful and generate more interest than nearly all the other bowls.

If y'all are up for it, I'll give the AD's and espn a call. As a non-sanctioned bowl, we could split the whole kitty between the two schools. I'm betting we could bring our schools a pretty good pay day.
