Dont know if yall know this but for the second straight week jonathan joseph and fred bennett had a Interception and rice had another TD rec.
Fred looks like he is going to be real good corner and rice well all he needs is a solid QB to throw him the ball
Great to see these former GAMECOCKS playin good!

Doesn't Dunta Robinson play for the Texans as well? Another former Gamecock :)

I saw that...he scooped it and was gone!...but it was a good call to bring it back I thought.

It really was a sick catch. It reminded me of Sid jumping up and catching that ball in the corner of the endzone against Arkansas last year. Here is the highlight video of the game.

Sydney is starting to become the #1 WR up there in Minnesota.. that is 2 straight games he has scored a TD.. That is pretty good.. considering their QB is one of the worst starting QBs in the NFL..

Their QB is 6-2 as a starter. He is not as bad as people think. He is young and getting better as the season goes on. I don't think he will ever be a steller NFL QB but I think he can get good enough to manage a game and put the ball into the hands of his play makers like Peterson, Rice, Taylor, Allison etc.

Dunta's out for the rest of '07..Very serious injury(s)
Texans CB Robinson's season likely finished with knee injury
Associated Press
Updated: November 4, 2007, 8:41 PM ET
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Houston cornerback Dunta Robinson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6769) was told he'll miss the rest of the season after seriously injuring his right knee in a pileup with teammates in Sunday's win over the Oakland Raiders (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=oak).
http://assets.espn.go.com/i/nfl/profiles/players/mugs/65x90/5535.jpg Robinson
Robinson, the Texans' top cornerback and a rising star in his fourth NFL season, left the Coliseum field on a cart late in the first quarter after a teammate hit him from behind.
"My season is over, and I've just got to get ready for next year," Robinson said while leaning on crutches in the Texans' locker room after their 24-17 win. "It's just another step in the road, another bump I've got to get over."
Team doctors told Robinson his hamstring ripped completely off the bone, and he might have torn at least one knee ligament. The club won't know the injury's full extent until an MRI back in Houston on Monday, but the doctors told Robinson he's finished for 2007.
"It doesn't look good at all," Houston coach Gary Kubiak said. "We're probably going to be in the corner market here real quickly."
Robinson, who had 33 tackles and two interceptions entering the game, was hurt while attempting to strip the ball from Raiders receiver Ronald Curry (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6092) after a catch near the first-down marker in Houston territory.
Earl Cochran (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8207), Robinson's 281-pound teammate, came barreling into Robinson from behind in an attempt to make the tackle, bending Robinson awkwardly. Robinson wasn't sure whether the injury occurred on that hit or during the ensuing pileup that left him motionless on the ground.
"My leg was stuck in the ground, and somebody came and jumped on my back, probably trying to move the pile," Robinson said. "I couldn't get out of the way. This is part of the sport that I play."
Robinson spent a few minutes on the turf before rising and gingerly moving to a cart, which took him to the locker room. He was seated upright, and acknowledged cheers from Oakland's fans with a wave of his hand.
Robinson has been the strongest player in Houston's secondary, earning praise for his toughness and steady play. Opponents have targeted fellow cornerback DeMarcus Faggins (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6052) for most of their big throws.
With top backup cornerback Jamar Fletcher (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5473) already sidelined by appendicitis, third-stringer Dexter Wynn (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6951) replaced Robinson, though backup Fred Bennett (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8377) also played extensively.
"If Fred hadn't been there, we would have basically been stuck in our base defense the whole game, no matter what [the Raiders] did on offense," Kubiak said.

when I saw that move, I was like WHAT!? lol everyone in the resturant turned to the TV and watched it... it was sick, I mean, he shook him so bad, he was off his feet... now THATS something you have to live with... I would rather be embarrassed by having Barry Sanders slip through my fingers, than to have gotten shaken like Kennedy did... that was INSANE! lol

Yeah, the Vikes are gonna start showing how good their 2007 draft class really was. AP and Sid are already making a big impact there. the QB has actually made some nice progress. Not calling him Brady or Peyton, but he is improving. He's already starting to learn that if he just throws it up to Sidney, chances are he will come down with it.

I am a huge Texan fan, so it was awesome to see the Texans draft Fred B. The week D. Robinson went down, was the first week Fred B. started and man I was excited. D. Robinson is the leader on the Texan D, so you know it hurt them when he went down. Bob McNair loves drafted those fellow Gamecocks!
