the SEC/Big East Invitational.
Dec. 5th - Birmingham
WVU vs. Auburn at 7:00 pm on ESPN2
Georgetown vs. Alabama at 9:30 pm on ESPN
Dec. 6th - Philly
South Carolina vs. Providence at 7:00 pm on ESPN2
LSU vs. Villanova at 9:30 pm on ESPN
looking at these 4 matchups, to be honest i wouldnt be surprised if the SEC got swept. but im hoping the SEC could pull off an upset or 2.
does anyone know if any of the SEC teams are favored to win?

WVU completely dominated the War Eagles. It looked like the Mountaineers were playing a HS team. WVU sure has some complete players. When they were up by 20 some at half, their coach was asked what he will do to help the players keep their focus. He didn't blink an eye or crack a smile and stated they practice and play hard all the time and if someone looses focus, there are lots of people over there sitting that are still very focused. I loved that attitude.
Go Cocks!

Well it is 4 of our worst teams against 4 of their better teams. Is there any other games, or is this it?...and I wonder why we didn't have UT, UF, UK, or Arky in this.
BTW....if we win one, I'll be surprised.

i was thinking the same thing, except UK isnt as good as they were without Tubby. and UF lost all 5 starters i believe (though im not sure how theyre doing this year)

Hahahahahahaha!!!! Don't quit your day job just yet. I thought Prov. and USC was a very close matchup (see my posts earlier today). Same with the Alabama game and now it's looking like LSU is clicking away pretty well. The top teams in the Big East are traditionally very good and formidable to say the least. The SEC, on the other hand, is very, very deep.

Nova has no answer for LSU's athleticism

We must be deep as USC and LSU both predicted to finish last in the SEC. If those are the two bottom Teams in the SEC we will be one formidable conference to say the least.
