I see his follow up dunk from last night is all over sportscenter today. Good for him. You know it must feel good when you can watch yourself on the show making some good plays.

It is great to see a player who has some muscle for a change. I think this kid is going to play a big part on this team.

I dont know if he's "awesome" enough to go straight from high school to the NBA, but he was Mr. Basketball in SC so he definitely has game. I hope to see him mature into a dominating low post presence for us over the next few years.

It is an awesome dunk, but someone explain to me why they don't have any actual highlights of the game. Sportscenter is such a joke. It was one of their primetime games and they don't give a breakdown at all, yet we can hear about the damn Patriots for 30 minutes.

ESPN is a F'in joke, they led to comercial with his dunk followed by "Sportscenters Top Ten on the way" I left it on ESPN and when they came back from commercial his dunk wasn't even in the top ten. Are you serious, that shlt i weak

What I heard was that he was about as tall as he is now, back in like Freshman year of HS, and people were expecting that he would grow more and go straight to the NBA. His stock really dropped alot his last couple years of high school. I think during his freshman/sophomore years of HS he was one of the top 20 prospects in the nation in his class. By the time he graduated he wasn't even top 100 I think. I really doubt he will be going to the NBA anytime soon, which is good because he's gonna be a player for us, great rebounder

bingo on the height issue. Holmes was 6'7 as a sophmore and he was expected to be a big man but he stopped growing. At that point he was expected to jump straight to the NBA. However, I think expecting him to stay here for four years may be a little presumptuous because he has so many tools to be a great player.

If he does, he'll complement the guard play of Downey and Frederick and make us complete from top to bottom!
They guys are on the verge of being GREAT!!!
