If anyone is interested in some good soccer, come to the Carolina United Futbol Cub field tomorrow for a State Cup challenge match between Lexington County Soccer Club and Carolina Elite Soccer Academy at 3 PM. Should be some great soccer. Mark Berson coaches the Lexington team.

I know a few guys on Berson's team really well. Although, I didn't even know this was going on
I go to my HS's soccer games (which they play in), but Club Soccer never really comes up in the conversation.

Not sure why. Challenge level club soccer is a cut above High School soccer.

Yeah, I know. It's just that there's just not as much emotionally invested in Club Soccer games (in HS soccer it's representing your school and stuff) so it's not really as interesting.
But, I will admit, sometimes HS soccer is painful to watch. I'm not usually one to complain about style of play like some Eurosnobs do, but MAN when teams suck they really SUCK!

It is because you are not limited to just one school area. You can recruit kids from all over.

Yeah when a HS team is Bad... be prepared for a circus. I played for lexington 00-04 and when we would play Orangeburg we would see the craziest stuff ever! ... kids taking naps on the field before the game... volleyball style spiking the ball... kids sitting down in the middle of the game...

What I meant was not sure why he wasn't exposed to club soccer. I know the limitations of pulling players from an area...I coach High School myself.
