Football Player/Coach bashing...

I am sick and tired of this negative talk about our football team. If you hate Carolina so much then leave this site and don't come back when we win the East. The guidelines say there will be no player/coach bashing but it goes on during every thread. Mods I wish you would all step up and ban some of these clowns! I don't remember the last positive thread we have had on this site about our football team!

I'll second that. You could find me all last season defending DO in the baskeball thread. I'll probably be doing it again this whole season. My interpretation of the rule is Gamecock coaches. Not Ole Miss coaches. If a coach leaves USC for the same position at another school (that isn't his alma mater), than he's choosing somebody else over us and should be fair game for criticism. Please feel free to debate that point.

I don't want to highjack the purpose of BigFinch's thread, but I think there's a fine line in making negative comments about a former coach. While right now it may not be the right time to say anything negative about Nix, there certainly isn't any remorse or sympathy for Brad Scott.

Again though, to the purpose of BigFinch's thread. Let's take Nix leaving as a positive step for the direction of our program and do it with class. That means wishing Nix well and thanking him for his time and effort while at Carolina. However, it's also time to express excitement about the possibilities that our defense may have to improve going into next year. No one is happy with the way our season ended and particularly the play of our defense. Now we have aditional reason for optimism.

Nah...I want to hear all the football "experts" on this board give there insight into defensive football, the 3-4 defense, how Nutt is an idiot for hiring Nix....need I go on...the sad thing is none of the experts are experts at all. they think they know more than they do.

PS I really like the explanation that its ok to bash Nix now because he's at Ole Miss....after all its not like anyone was bashing before.

Right now is probably not a good time to be bashing DCs out there. They may end up being our coach.

SOS understands the importance of a "winning state of mind". You know, one that is driven to win; one that won't accept defeat; and one that consistently stays positive with the faith that winners will prevail. Well about 2/3 of USC fans are unable to do that. Posts constantly state all the reason we will lose instead of win and then brag about being right. For once I wish I could start seeing where people predicted how we are going to win every game and then move on without stating the obvious for any loss. Take the last game against Providence. It was disgusting to see how many people did nothing but state how we did not have a chance. After we dissappointed all those non-believers, they found solice in bitching about why we did not win by 10 pts and how this player needed to do that and this. How about stating "great game guys, keep it up".

Anyway, I am waisting my finger tips. Go Cocks!

We beg and beg and beg and beg people to report anything they don't like yet we still get few to no reports every day.

If you don't like something, report it.

We won't be bothered by it and if it is questionable we will discuss it and deal with it.

If you have a problem with the forum is being run, feel free to PM any Mods or Chuck who is always open to talk.
