I haven't kept up with the Shrine Bowl players much this year. Last year we were hearing a lot about Cliff Mathews, Willie Korn, and a few others. Who are the top players this year? Thanks.

Are you talking about the east-west Shrine game or the South Carolina Shrine game ?

Richard Mounce and Marquan Jones are big time players. Of course they are heading to Clemsux but great players. My daughter attends Blythewood High and we went to every home games over the past two years. They are awesome to watch.

I talked to one of the Coaches that has been at some of the practices and he stated TJ Johnson was a good looking OLineman. He actually stated he has been more impressive than either Freeman or Page. This Dude played football for Penn St and Coaches OLineman on the HS level so he knows what he is talking about.

I'm sorry. I should have made that clear. I was talking about the South Carolina Shrine game. I have heard a lot about Charles Whitlock. It sounds like he will be a great player. I was just wondering about others that we may be high on; or, as mentioned above, players that are probably headed to Clemson.

mounce and jones are both good players. (i go to ac flora, so ive got to watch them play a lot over the past few years...both going to clemson but mounce is going for baseball)

i dont know about too many others, but i know kenneth page is playing in it. there is probably a roster somewhere on the high school sports board

Daquan Bowers has been dominating from what I've been reading in the practice reports.

Also been hearing a lot about Whitlock on the defensive side. A under that radar LB from OB-W by the name of Sterling Lucas has seen his stock risen as well. y'alls DL commit Kenny Davis had a good day yesterday.

Andre Ellington and Brandon Jones have been getting a lot of mention too.
