What are the NCAA rules about jersey numbers in the context of can players wear the same numbers because in the Illinois Southern Cal game southern cal had two number 4's Joe Mcknight and a player on defense i believe that is what i saw. thanx for the help.

As long as they are not on field at the same time it is okay.

Players can share numbuers they just can't be on the field at the same time

That's fine as long as they are on opposite ends of the ball. We do this as well.
