Hanahan's Head Coach Jeff Cruce will be leaving to take the Head Coach/AD job at Cane Bay, a new school opening up in Berkeley Co.

Its just going to be 2a because the first year of the school will have only 9th and 10th graders. 11th grade will be added in 2009 and the school will be full in 2010. At that point it will for sure be a 4A school. Cane Bay will field varsity teams with their 9th and 10th graders next year. Cruce is a very good hire and I look for Cane bay to become a 4a powerhouse within the next 10 years.

This is very exciting for me because I live in Cane Bay territory. I am only a couple of miles from the new Cane Bay HS........I am excited about him taking the job. He will have the team winning soon.

a buddy of mine, lionel went to hanahan played for him and got offered an assisstant coaching job for cane bay. it's really exciting. i might pull for them instead of stratford, where i went.
