Does anybody know of some cheap, but good software that will convert PDF files into MS Word documents?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Thank you for the link, but I have done tried that. It converts it to a word document, but it saved my pages as images...I can't edit it or do anything to it. I did it again, but it still gave me the same outcome as my previous attempt did.

try searching for "PDF to Text"...that is probably what you are looking to do. then you can put it in Word if you'd like.

Some PDF's you can hit "text select" - then copy / paste to word or wherever.

It's not a direct conversion but it works. But it has to be a PDF generated straight from a file. Not scanned.

That's ok... I was about to say that I needed to convert a PDF to a word document...not create a PDF... :)

I called the company that we got our copier from and he suggested a program called Omnipage 16. It's like $134 on Amazon, but I was hoping for a cheaper way of going about it....

First you need an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program to convert the scans to text.-which is an iffy proposition at best even with the best software.

Yeah, we got that yesterday...The computer genius here put it on my pc and even that doesn't work right....It was a free version...
