SEC honors freshman USC sprinter

Lakya Brookins, sprinter for The University of South Carolina, was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week .
Brookins posted a win in her first-ever collegiate meet and tied for the 10th best 60-meter dash time in South Carolina indoor history with a time of 7.37 at the UNC Classic. Brookins finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.20. The South Carolina track and field teams will compete in the Tom Jones Memorial Classic this weekend in Gainesville, Fla.

If you're, referring to the 200m time, you know it's just about impossible to fall that far behind in half a lap. Unless of course, you're very, very slow. Also, a 25 second time in college is not that great for male athletes (average tends to be around 21-22 seconds), so with absolutely no research, I'd say the athlete is female.
