jared, my plans are to go and get at the gate, i've done in the past plenty of times, but i can't go opening day, i'll be going saturday, but still should be able to get tickets at the gate. I would call ahead time and ask, i've done that too. They'll tell you how sure they are of buying at the gate.

How much do tickets cost at the game if you buy it from the ticket office or from scalpers?

How much do tickets cost at the game$6 (GA only)
if you buy it from the ticket office Same price - same 'seating' - GA only or from scalpers? This would be where you pick up seat tix - usually a guy or three near the corner of Heyward and S Marion - walking around so look around. I've always gone GA so can't tell you a price, but I've been told that it's usually face value for most if not all except Clemson.

I'd bet my bottom dollar there will be GA available at the game on Friday, as it's an early game - but I seriously doubt the Sarge will be looking less than full. 10% chance of precip and highs around 72 - wow! Same Saturday except cooler and Sunday they're calling for precip (60%) - both those games are at 1:30. I'd expect to see a lot on Saturday - but GA still available.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm like a kid 2 weeks before summer vacation...:swingcoc: :swingcoc: :swingcoc:

it amazes me how cheap baseball tickets are.

last year on the day of the spring game we played the citadel at home and i was able to catch it both of them. fantastic day. does anyone know what time the spring game starts and what time the miss. st game starts. hopefully it can be a repeat of last year.

for those keeping score at home, we lost to the citadel like 15-3

Just make sure you get there early, cause between the parking and searching for a seat, you'll be thankful you did.

Does anyone know if students can still show their id to get in? Thats the way it was last year, but now they have the online ticket distribution, and I graduated in December so I am out of the loop on that stuff now.

I'm going to the opening game and plan to buy tickets outside, probably from Eddie on the corner. We are going extra early though for this game.

It's monday night and I don't have tix for Friday's game. Do I have a chance at the gate?

i don't think that we'll fill the stadium up since it stats at 3 and it'll be a cold damp day from what they're sayin.

I'd caution everyone thinking they will surely get a ticket...keep in mind the huge disappointment with football and basketball this year....so people might be starving for a winner and actually show up for the baseball games...

true singapore, but if you're there earlier enough, then you'll get tickets

eh, we've had one of the most successful programs in the past 10 years and tickets have never been tough to get...a lot of times people will just give them away. i don't see it being any harder to do this year.

I believe that as far as Friday's game is concerned, getting tickets at the gate should be no problem. The game starts at 3, which interferes with a lot of people's work schedule. Plus, my dad told me that Columbia is supposed to get some showers on Friday, so that would "dampen" the attendance. As far as Saturday's and Sunday's game, barring good weather, it'll be a lot tougher to get a ticket. But, hey, its worth trying to see the Yardcocks play!!!! 3 days baby!!!!

I left the crystal ball at home this morning - but looking at weather forecasts, you might not get a ticket Friday - but you might get to see 2 games on Saturday... just speculatin'. I'm not trtying to jynx anything either...

Saturday's precip chances are more in the a.m., and Sunday looks to be pretty clear.

I'm still crossing my fingers.
