Once again I come in peace!!!!

I'd like to start a nice thread about what to expect in 2 weeks. We are anticpating this team to be the best, if not one the best offensive teams we have ever had. We have alot of power and speed. Anyone hitting 1-9 can knock it out at anytime. If our defense isn't lock down every game, it will be viewed as a dissapointment.

We have a TRUE STUD in TJ Hose as the Friday starter, but everyone else is suspect. According to the coaches and insiders from our practices/scrimmages, we should be pleasantly surprised at what we are bringing to the mound every time.

I've read you guys have a bit of injury problem, but everyone knows you are so deep that should not hurt you. Also, I've heard your infield is the best hitting in the NCAA's???? Is that correct?

I think it will be a great series, I think we can take at least one from you guys!! :)

yes, our infield is very very very good!!! THE tops i would say. It sounds like if the pirates have great hitting, and you know we do, then should be a slugfest. BRING IT ON!!!

Never know what to expect from my Gamecocks.....Pitching??????? I think we'll win the series. I don't know if we'll sweep though.

Yeah I think ECU is an ok team but we're going to be one of the best this year so I have to say a sweep of the Pirates.

You can't expect that in baseball. Even an outstanding team will lose a couple and I fully expect a national championship run this season.

Why would you be reasonable, dont you know you know its better to make some unlikely claim and then put Go Cocks at the end.

Outside of Clemson I wouldn't be shocked if we swepted each individual series as I think we are a good deal better than them but to sweep all of them would suprise me. Remember last year we were 2-2 against baseball teams from SC and that was with 2 wins against Clemson

We were 3-1 against Clemson last year.

Going into SEC play we were 2-2 overall against schools from South Carolina(the state), with two loses coming against CofC and the Citadel. Those were our only two loses, my point was its unlikely to expect us to be perfect going into SEC play and the loses could come from an unexpected source. You would think itd be more likely we would lose to Clemson as opposed to CofC or the Citadel. I may have worded it poorly but that was my point, we were almost undefeated but for the "lesser" teams out of the Clemson, CofC, Citadel.
