I was hoping the bills would get him. I know he hasnt signed yet, but honestly, if your a vet who has never sniffed the super bowl and your of his cailber, where do you want to sign???? Im sure he only has to call wes welker to help with his decision making. I hate the Pats......

I can understand the reason in signing, but I'd wait until all the spygate stuff has blown over. I guess the 3-4 the two inside guys are essentially middle linebackers, and with Bruschi and Thomas you have two great backers. I guess that's how the 3-4 is, anyone feel free to clarify for me.

i think this is a bad pick up....if he goes. sure thomas has more tackles than any other man in the hall of fame....but how many games did he play last year?? the answer......just 5. he's a walking concussion magnet. it is not a good idea to pick a guy up after he sat out over half the season with severe head injuries. he's one hit away from retiring and the pats want him??? foolish. i figured with the lesson they learned at the superbowl with vrabel, seau and bruschi....old guys cannot get it done like young guys can. hell even adalius thomas has 8 or 9 years in the league. scrap your LB core and look to the draft to harvest some fresh young talent and pick up some younger free agents to plug up holes in the meantime

It fits the Patriots model to have aging defenders...defense is definitely not why they were 18-1...it was offense. The patriots need to fortify their D with young talent...don't get me wrong, Zach Thomas is great but he gets hurt a lot and I don't think that he has many seasons left in him, so good for him if he joins a team that will make a super bow run...I don't blame him one bit
