A few final scores worth mentioning from today:
#2 UNC 7 Fla Atl 1
#5 Arizona 7 Georgia 9
#6 Texas 6 VCU 2
#8 Vandy 8 #11 Oregon State 1
#24 Miss St. 8 North Fla 2
Looks like Georgia pulled off the lone major upset today. The SEC should also wind up 9-0 on the day- just another opening day for the greatest conference in the country.
Let's rock those Pirates this weekend! :woo:

I would not discount Florida Altlantic as being a weak opponent. All the Florida teams are competetive in College Baseball. There are just boatloads of quality baseball players in Florida.

Gotta disagree with you on this. The state of Florida does have a boat load of talent but FAU right now is on par with so many other non-conference teams the Holes play this year and have played in the past - Weak.
That said though the Holes are overrated. THe problem is that weakness is not exposed because of the padded OOC and conference schedule they play in an overall weak ACC.
