for those of you who are citadel fans in here..im making this for the baseball season not a good start this weekend going 1-2..delaware had two all-american pitchers though..on the bright side freshman pitcher Asher Wojciechowski looked great striking out i think it was 9 in the 12-0 win on saturday...the dogs play unc-wilmington on wednesday so hopefully they can get back at .500

Citadel wins against unc-wilmington 3-1

Citadel is now 2-2 with a tournament coming into town..3 games..nc a&t friday, louisville saturday, and nc state on sunday

They should come around, they were young last year, especially in the infield, so hopefully that experience will come into play. They should go 2-1 this weekend at least, a win over NC State would really make for a good weekend.

its still pretty young i was at the game tonight, i counted and there were 5 sophmores, 1 junior and 2 seniors out in the field..the future is bright

How much did Louisville lose from their CWS team last year? They could be tough, but the Citadel has had a lot of success against the big boys in this tourney. I remember a few years ago they beat Nebraska when they were highly ranked, and the Cid always play well against the wolfpack.

citadel seems to always play well against the bigger teams...should be a succsesful weekend if they get 2 out of 3

Citadel beat nc a&t 2-1 in 10 on friday..then beat #23 louisville 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th in an upset..the dogs fell short to nc state although on sunday 4-3..overall it was a good weekend for them..they have sc upstate 2 games during the weekdays
