The real morons are those who regard it as a "pseudo sport". It's basically a theatrical performance. Yes, it's planned...Yes it's rehearsed...that's the idea. When John Wayne shot all those Indians on the screen, you don't hear anyone say that's fake; those Indians are not really dead. You just enjoy the show!

Excellent point, but it just doesn't sound as good as "Sports Entertainment".

These guys are real athletes to do what they do, but they are even better actors. Some of the aerials that they do and attempt are as impressive as any you'll see at a circus or in gymnastics. To do these with guys over two fifty is just nutz. I've met a few of these guys and they really do put their all into what they do and get little in return (other than fan appreciation). If you ever sit down and talk to the legends (I was able to talk to Rick Flair, Hulk Hogan, Jake the Snake, Dusty Rhodes, the list just goes on) they can tell you stories of traveling for 300 days outta the year and fighting through horrible injuries just to put on the next show.

While I know its just a show, its one impressive show.
